The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy has recently announced a support programme designed to help small businesses across a range of disciplines

The Government ministerial department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy ("BEIS") has recently announced the provision of a support programmes designed to provide a range of advice to small businesses.

The programme provides a range of disciplines designed to support small business by providing a reference point to government endorsed schemes.

Examples of this programme include access to funding, idea incubators and Growth Hubs, recruitment, exporting and selling overseas and Brexit advice.

As UKs only provider of Personal Guarantee Insurance, this programme is welcomed and further shows support the Government is providing to small businesses following the calls made by the Small Business Commissioner, Paul Uppal, to assist small businesses when dealing with larger corporate suppliers.
